Igneous is a collaborative album between The Owl and VEIDRIK, created between November 6th and December 7th, 2021.

For this collaboration, The Owl sent me one of his photographs, from which 18 minutes of sounds were created from the raw data. The Owl then took my recording, broke it down and made each track from this album from the pieces.

Tracks 1, 3, 4 and 6 were made from what has become track 2.
7 was made from 5, and 9 is from 8 reversed.

To be completely honest, the owl is making some of the best experimental music out there. Morbid Beauty is awe inspiring, the sloth hammer, some of the owl ripper compilations I can jam to in the car, but then there is always this. His solo contemplative works. Whenever I need to think or just let my mind take a break from reality I will pop one of these on, put my headphones on, and drift away. (In other words, buy this album). bob-smiley
