This album was inspired by the recent heat waves and the escalating consequences of our rapacious assault of this planet.

As with all of my past releases, Scorched Earth was made by converting the cover photograph into audio and then manipulating it with various effects. Each track was recorded in a single take without any layering, editing or post production.
